Stephen Hughes is an artist based in Brighton. His photographs are dedicated to the peripheral, marginal zones and strange disconnected gaps of our contemporary social landscape.
Hughes work has been exhibited extensively and recent shows have taken place at Galerie Thomas Zander, Cologne, Blue Sky Gallery, Portland, USA (solo). Next year his work will be included in a group show at the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art, Sunderland and a solo show at Robert Mann Gallery, New York.
